Cherry Blossom Festival
The Cherry Blossom Festival celebrates the original gift of 3,000 cherry trees from the city of Tokyo to the people of Washington, DC in 1912. Come and enjoy the spirit of the season! Chesapeake Bay Blues Festival
The area's largest blues festival is back by popular demand! Held at Sandy Point Park, just 15 minutes from the campground, the festival is held in late May. Check out www.bayblues.org online for more information.
Memorial Day Celebration/Rolling Thunder Weekend
Memorial Day in D.C. is Rolling Thunder Weekend. Join thousands of motorcycle riders as we honor our military services. Come watch the "Blessing of the Bikes" and meet your fellow Americans.
Ice Cream Social Every Saturday in the Summer
Every Saturday during the summer we have Dollar a Scoop Ice Cream Socials and make your own Sundaes. Enjoy your day sight-seeing our great Capitol, then come and join us for a cool dish of ice cream. All Proceeds go to Care Camp.

Maryland Renaissance Festival
Festivals are held on Saturdays and Sundays starting August 29th through October 25TH. A variety of food vendors, artisans and entertainers fill festival grounds located 10 miles from the campground. Maryland Seafood Festival

United States Sailboat and Powerboat Shows
The U.S. Sailboat Show and October Powerboat Show are the nation's largest water shows, and are held just 15 minutes from our KOA. The U.S. Sailboat Show is October 1th through 4th and the Powerboat Show is October 8th through 12th. Visit them online at www.annapolisboatshows.com
