30,000 Island Queen Cruise

Cruise Georgian Bay's 30,000 Islands: the largest concentration of freshwater islands in the world! Tickets are available here at the campground (same price) and we reserve for you.

The cruise runs everyday at 1pm and is a 3-hour, outer-island wilderness cruise (June-Thanksgiving Monday)
and also at 10am (July/Aug) and is a 2-hour, inner-island cruise.

Beaches and Waterfront

There are 2 beautiful sandy beaches within 5 minutes of the campground, including a free boat launch. One beach/Boat Launch is on Rankin Lake & one beach with playground & washrooms is on Otter Lake.
For Georgian Bay or many other little beaches, they are 3-10 minutes away.  Also there is a beautiful Fitness Trail for walking or biking with a beach and playground right on Georgian Bay approx. 10 minutes away.

Bear Claw ATV Tours

Bear Claw ATV Tours offer a truly spectacular adventure on the Canadian Shield and what better way to experience it than by driving your very own All Terrain Vehicle. Enjoy a half day guided ATV tour while stepping back in time and travel trails and paths from the mid 1800's. See old homesteads hewn from the rugged Canadian wilderness. Discover long forgotten pioneer passages, secret lakes and mystic forests. This is a great opportunity for a chance sighting of one of our many black bears or maybe a moose crossing a cranberry bog. Park-to-Park Trail

The Park-to-Park Trail is truly a regional incentive and a hidden gem! Connecting Killbear Provincial Park to Algonquin Provincial Park, this 230 km length of trail is a destination for all trail enthusiasts, such as hikers, walkers, cyclists, snowmobilers, horse back and ATV'ers. This project will ultimately produce a four-season multi-use trail system. The Seguin Recreational Trail is the main spine of the Park-to-Park Trail system and is accessed right from our property here at the KOA. YES, trailer right to our door and unload only once!!! Ride directly from your site or cabin to the trail. Permits are required and we sell them here on behalf of Park to Park for the same price and you receive a map as well. Cash only please. Picnic, fish and even swim at various spots along the trail. We ask that you go directly from your site or cabin to the trail and then go directly back to your site or cabin. Please no riding around in the park. Thx.

The Charles W. Stockey Centre and Bobby Orr Hall of Fame

Music, comedy, drama, and variety on the stage of the magnificent new Stockey Centre for performing arts overlooking Georgian Bay and Parry Sound's multi-use shoreline trail. AND/OR Take your best shot at the Bobby Orr Hall of fame - learn the history, play the games and shoot on NHL goalies. Enjoy this new state of the art centre year-round.

Camping Cabins- 1 and 2-room

Our exclusive 1 and 2-room camping cabins make your camping experience a safe, simple and economical choice. Our "cozy' cabins are built from both pine and cedar logs equipped with small fridges + the standard features and are all situated close to our main washroom facilities. Planning a reunion and facing the possibility of some invitees that may not have a RV of their own? Reserving your next reunion at our KOA would solve that issue. We have cabins and sites that are all together so your group can camp close to each other for your planned get-together.

Welcome to Parry Sound - Jewel of the 30,000 Islands, part of the Unesco-designated Georgian Bay Biosphere Reserve, and conveniently located just two hours from Toronto. This is a gorgeous area of Georgian Bay! Come enjoy the Explorer's Edge Region!


There are dozens of freshwater lakes within 10 minutes of the campground, including the world-renowned Georgian Bay. The various fish species include: small and large mouth bass, Northern Pike, Lake Trout, Pickerel, & Perch to name only a few. We have canoe rentals here at the campground, but motor boats and equipment rentals are available at marinas nearby.

Golf Courses

The region has fantastic golf courses for all levels of players, from amateur to expert. Deer Run Golf Club-18 hole course includes a driving range and is well priced The newest course is located within 10 minutes of our KOA called Seguin Valley Golf and Country Club Its 2000-acre property boasts an 18-hole public course; "We treat our customers like a member for the day."  We often have had our campers play at Seguin GC and many say it is one of the finest they have ever played. Come check them out.

The Museum on Tower Hill

Shopping Parry Sound Downtown Shopping only 10 minutes to groceries at No Frill's, Home Hardware, Wal-Mart Superstore, Hart Department Store, Jay Set clothing outlet with quality high end brands names, Northern Reflections, Mark's Work Wear House, , Harvey's, Pet Value, Sobeys, Canadian Tire, Home Depot, Rona, M & M Meats, Shopper's Drug Mart open till midnight & many more great stores.

Aspen Wildlife Sanctuary

Injured animals are nursed back to health with the intentions of being re-released back to the wild. This is a not-for-profit organization where kindhearted humans spend countless hours mending furry critters. Call ahead as times and dates for visiting changes. Currently, Tour Mon-Fri 9:30 & 11:00-phone ahead # of people. Long weekends Open House. $30 for 2 people, $10/person after. Cash donations, pet food, old blankets, sheets and towels are graciously accepted.

Santa's Village

Visit Santa's summer house where kids are elves for the day! See Santa's farm and feed his reindeer, ride the candy cane Express train, meet with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Located in Bracebridge a scenic drive 30 miles southeast of our campground, approximately 45 minutes drive from here.
