Virginia Beach KOA Events
Holiday Lights at the Beach
McDonald’s Holiday Lights at the Beach brings joy and wonder to Hampton Roads every holiday season! Take a shiny journey into nautical, holiday, and adventure lands – all along the beautiful Virginia Beach boardwalk. Festive fish, jumping dolphins, frolicking porpoises – all in bright, colored lights against the clear night-time sky. They are joined by Santa, elves, and a 40-foot tall Christmas tree erected on the beach and in the beautiful parks along the Virginia Beach boardwalk between 2nd and 24th Streets.
Santa vs. Grinch: Toys for Tots Paintball Day of Fun!
Help Santa defend the North Pole and deliver Toys for Tots at Virginia Beach’s newest Paintball field, Adventure Sports Park, pitting “Team Santa” against “Team Grinch” in a capture-the-flag inspired Woods competition.
Proceeds will purchase computers for the Compassion Advocacy Network, while toys donated will benefit the Marine Corps Reserves Toys for Tots program.
The event will take place at Adventure Sports Park (across from Virginia Beach KOA's back gate), on Saturday & Sunday, December 14 & 15, 2013 from 10:00am-5:00pm each day. Tickets of $35/person include admission, paintball rental gear & 200 paintballs; however, with a donation of an unwrapped toy of equal value, the admission fee is waived.
Besides paintball, children's activities include a visit by Santa, hay wagon rides, games, facepainting, and more.
