Come Camp & Care Weekend/Yard Sale/Open House!

Free camping Saturday when you pay for Friday! Help us raise funds and have some fun. We will have a giant yard sale and Silent Auction on Saturday. Free pancake breakfast for MOM on Sunday. All funds raised from the yard sale,silent auctions and pancake breakfast will be donated to KOA Cancer Care. KOA supports Camp Sunshine right here in Maine! Help us reach our August/Gardiner goal for this year of $2,000 we were able to donate $710. from this weekend last year!

Armed Forces weekend

One complimentary night of camping for our friends that have served in any branch of the military in any of our sites or camping units or cabins.

Memorial Day weekend/Music/ Karaoke!

Join us for a long weekend of fun. Free disc golf, mini golf, & shuffleboard. Gem stone mining, laser tag and famous target splash. Bring your water weapons for Uncle Henrys "Spray" ride and be prepared to defend yourself.

Free Fishing & Fishing Derby!

FREE fishing for all these two days on all open lakes, ponds and rivers including our own Pleasant Pond and nearby Kennebec River. We will hold a fishing derby with prizes for biggest fish by age group.

What's Brewin' Weekend

Join us to learn to brew your own beverages and sample some fine local concoctions. One of our local merchants will have kits available and walk us through the process of making beer or wine. We will start a batch to share with campers later in the year! If you have your own brew being it for our best of the best competition!

Fathers Day weekend/Chainsaw Art!

Kids Camp Free on Dads big weekend. Dads get free pancake breakfast on Sunday. Chainsaw art demonstrations and contest! You will be the judge and have a chance to win a piece of art for your self!

Blistered Fingers Family Bluegrass Festival

Some of the Greatest Bluegrass music at one of the largest family musical events in New England! This Bluegrass Festival takes place twice every year, in June and August, bringing Music lovers from all over the World converging in Litchfield to hear banjos, fiddles, and those high, lonesome harmonies. Greater Gardiner River Fest, Gardiner, Maine

The Greater Gardiner River Fest includes events for the whole family: Children's games and activities, lots of free music, 5K road race, demonstrations, food, craft show, talent show, fireworks and more!

2014 Whatever Family Festival

Between 5 and 20 minutes from our campground. Gardiner, Augusta, Winthrop and surrounding communities come together during the Whatever Family Festival with many exciting events including Gardiner Arts Festival, Johnson Hall Waterfront Talent Show, Gardiner Rotary Fireworks, Hallowell Kayak and Canoe rides and Family Day in Capitol Park - musical presentations, dancing, balloons, hands on activities and much more. Camper Olympics!

Moxie Festival, Lisbon Falls, Maine

Moxie is Maine's original soda pop and it was invented right in Lisbon, Maine just 20 minutes from our park. The Annual Moxie Festival includes a Intertribal Pow Wow, river race, 5K road race, parade, car show, Moxie raffle and more! Yarmouth Clam Festival, Yarmouth, Maine

The Annual Yarmouth Clam Festival includes a parade, free performances, craft show, an art show, sports contests, a carnival and a variety of free family-oriented activities. Maine Quilts Show, Augusta Civic Center

Just 11 miles from our park. The Pine Tree Quilters Guild presents the annual Maine quilters show with more than 500+ Quilts, Art Quilts, Display Quilts, Judged Quilts, Raffle Quilts. Crafts and Quilts

Local artists and campers will display and offer their crafts and quilts this weekend Saturday from 10-4. This is the same weekend that the giant quilt show is being held at the Civic Center just 11 miles away

Maine Lobster Festival, Rockland, Maine

Just an hour from our park. The Maine Lobster Festival is one of largest lobster feeds in the world! There are tons of steamed Maine lobsters, carnival, waterfront activities, maritime displays, Maine arts, naval vessels, harbor cruises, entertainment and a parade.

Topsham Fair

Just 20 minutes from the campground. This is a true agricultural fair with Harness Racing, carnival rides, truck pulls, demolition derby and food that will clog your arteries if you stare at it too long!

Great Falls Balloon Festval

Just 30 minutes from our campground. One of the Countries largest Balloon events but that's not all. Food, games, carnival, crafts, music and more. Balloon rides of course.

Maine Highland Games

Just 20 minutes from the campground. Pipe Bands, Gathering of the Clans, Scottish Food, Concerts, Harpers and Fiddlers (maybe a bit of drinking as well?)
